Aviation Career Day (SSI)

Join us for Aviation Career Day on March 8th at the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport! We will be there from 9am to 1pm. If you or someone you know is interested in a career in aviation we can tell you how to get started.

New Instructor Alert! (SSI)

Hi everyone! My name is Makayla. I’m excited to be here, coming all the way from Lawrence, Kansas. I started flying in 2021, and began instructing in the fall of 2023, as I finished CFII, multi, and MEI. Luckily, I come from a big aviation family. My dad was a B1 pilot, and is now a captain for FedEx. My grandpa flew in the Vietnam War, and later became the Chief Pilot for Boeing. Outside of flying, my big passion is martial arts. I am a 4th degree black belt, and was an instructor for 12 years. I taught all ages and backgrounds, and am grateful to have that experience as a CFI. Teaching both martial arts and flying has been extremely rewarding, and has created a lot of memories. I’m looking forward to creating even more here at High Tide!
